“I’m gonna kill him,” Eve said, or at least that was what it sounded like filtered through the pillow.
Stake him right in the heart, shove garlic up his ass, and-and-”
And what?” (Michael)
When did you get home?” Claire demanded.
Apparently just in time to hear my funeral plans. I especially like the garlic up the ass. It’s…different.”

The wait is over. dig into the feast…
In the town of Morganville, vampires and humans live in relative peace. Student Claire Danvers has never been convinced, though especially with the arrival of Mr. Bishop, an ancient, old-school vampire who cares nothing about harmony. What he wants from the town’s living and its dead is unthinkably sinister. It’s only at a formal ball, attended by vampires and their human dates, that Claire realizes the elaborately evil trap he’s set for Morganville.
Well, well, well…..the saga continues! I did not enjoy this book as much as the last one. I kind of felt like it was a filler book until the very end when all the excitement happened.
One of my biggest reasons for loving this series so much is the main character of Claire. She is really strong and independent. She takes care of business on her own and does not need to have the man at her side to do it. Although, he is a wonderful addition to the story! Hubba Hubba:)
These are short reads and I am continuing on with the next book…Lord Of Misrule.
