Through The Ever Night by Veronica Rossi
It’s been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don’t take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe’s precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.
Threatened by false friends, hidden enemies, and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, Can their love survive through the ever night?
In this second book in her spellbinding Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi combines fantasy and dystopian elements to create a captivating love story as perilous as it is unforgettable.
Awww, Aria & Perry! I loved the first book so much that I could not wait to get my hands on book 2. The book starts out with Perry bringing Aria to his home village. The dwellers are not taking too kindly to her and things get pretty messed up. Aria knows what she must do and it takes all of her strength to leave him, but she does. She leaves in search of the Still Blue. All of their hopes are riding on her finding it. There is so much heartache in this installment, between not only Aria and Perry but Roar and Liv! Yes, We finally get to meet Perry’s sister Liv!!! Besides that, there is a war raging and everyone must be on high alert! Aria has to trust the last person she thought she ever could and life as they knew it will never be the same! Can’t wait for book 3!!!
Bonnie and Clyde meets IF I STAY in this addictively heart-wrenching story of two desperate teenagers on the run from their pasts.
They’re young. They’re in love. They’re on the run.
Zoe wants to save Will as much as Will wants to save Zoe. When Will turns eighteen, they decide to run away together. But they never expected their escape to be so fraught with danger….
When the whole world is after you, sometimes it seems like you can’t run fast enough.
Nobody But Us, told in alternating perspectives from Will and Zoe, is an unflinching novel, in turns heartbreaking and hopeful, about survival, choices, and love…and how having love doesn’t always mean that you get a happy ending. Described as “beautiful, heartbreaking, and exhilarating” by Kody Keplinger, author of The DUFF, Nobody But Us will prove irresistible to fans of Nina Lacour, Jenny Han, and Sara Zarr.
Two teenage runaways, you know that this will not end well. I must admit that this was another tear jerker! Will and Zoe are totally in love. Will has grown up in foster homes and he has now turned 18 which leaves him out of the system. Zoe has an abusive father and has many terrifying memories of what her father had done to her mother. Will wants to take her away from it all. And so he does. The two take off on one terrifying trek to get to the only place they think they can have a safe and satisfying life…Las Vegas. With Will’s anger running high, the two run into lots of trouble along the way. Not to mention the illegal acts that Will has done prior to his leaving. The ending comes with bad circumstances at the hands of Zoe. And she will probably never be the same. A must read for contemporary fans!
For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You comes an erotic, emotionally charged romance between a powerful man who’s never heard “no” and a fiery woman who says “yes” on her own terms.
He was the one man I couldn’t avoid. And the one man I couldn’t resist.
Damien Stark could have his way with any woman. He was sexy, confident, and commanding: Anything he wanted, he got. And what he wanted was me.
Our attraction was unmistakable, almost beyond control, but as much as I ached to be his, I feared the pressures of his demands. Submitting to Damien meant I had to bare the darkest truth about my past—and risk breaking us apart.
But Damien was haunted, too. And as our passion came to obsess us both, his secrets threatened to destroy him—and us—forever.
Release Me is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.
The book opens with Nikki at an art gala opening. Her boss wants to use her as bait and shmooze a potential client…Damien Stark. Do you all see where this is going?? The two end up spending lots of time together and yes…there is lots of kinky stuff going on. The end result is many skeletons in each of their closets and Nikki is hoping for love from Damien which, he is not too quick to give. This book actually kept me on my toes and wandering where the heck the story would lead to next. A recommended read for any Fifty lover!
