Her sisters have found wedded bliss with their wealthy, wonderful dream men, but not Julietta Conte. She’s stayed on terra firma as top executive of the family’s corporation, La Dolce Famiglia bakery. Work is her passion, and her trendy Milan apartment her sanctuary . . . until Sawyer Wells, a masculine masterpiece in a suit, lures her out of hiding with an irresistible offer: an exclusive partnership with his international chain of boutique hotels.

Julietta’s been burned before—and trusting her brother-in-law’s friend, whose powerful gaze alone has her rethinking the best use of a conference room, is the riskiest proposition. But with a once-in-a-career chance to take the bakery global, will she mix stone-cold business with red-hot seduction?

My Thoughts

This series has been awesome! I enjoyed the fact that the whole series surrounds the Conte family and has to do with each of the siblings. They each have had their own book and their own seperate love story.

Julietta is bad ass! *no lie* She doesn’t take any crap from men, she is the head of the family business AND she rides a bike! Not a I need to chain up my bicycle so no one steals it bike, but a two-wheel, engine revving, machine of steel! I LOVED IT!!! She has had a hard time with men in the past and has not had the pleasure of…ahem…reaching a certain level of ecstasy during relations. *if you know what I mean?*

That all changes once she meets Sawyer Wells. He is HAWT! Yes! Hot with a capital H-A-W-T!! They create a sort of merger which requires Sawyer to give Julietta something that she NEVER believes would happen and if he succeeds, then he has full rights of their business decisions.

I must say, this book kept me on my toes. Sawyer of course has been damaged. He thinks that Julietta deserves someone so much better than him. It actually takes Mama Conte to instill the fact that he is the one into him before he actually believes it!

I also love Mama Conte! She is such a meddler! She literally has a part in all of her children’s lives!

I am sad to bring this series to a close but encourage all of you to please pick it up!!! Ms. Probst is an awesome story-teller, especially at the matters of the heart! I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next:)
