When executive woman Katie Warren arrives in the picturesque village of Little Marplethorpe for a country holiday, to reassess her life and her future, she doesn’t bargain on ending up in a hot three way love affair with a man she’s admired from afar… and his gorgeously handsome male partner.
Marcus Dane and Owen Foster are lovers, committed for a lifetime, but they both enjoy the company of women as friends and bedmates too. Encountering Katie at an exhibition of his work, Marcus knows she’s just the kind of bold, daring, imaginative woman who’ll relish sharing erotic games with Owen and himself.
But what none of the trio expect is that their intense, steamy threesome will quickly deepen into a bond that’s a lot more than just simply fabulous sex.
This book was a miss for me. I managed to read more than half but I just couldn’t continue. I rarely fail to finish a book, needless to say this is a rarity for me.
I like a ‘story’ and this includes erotica with a plot. I’m not into reading porn. I want a narrative with tasteful steamy, hot sex scenes when appropriate. In my opinion, this book was pure sloppy porn. If you enjoy strictly reading about serious sex acts without a plot, than you’ll probably enjoy this book.
Katie irritated me to no end. Her insecurities were very unattractive. A few of her thoughts were out there, pretty far fetched borderline ridiculous.
I suggest Da Costa secure a seasoned editor next time around, the numerous grammatical and spelling errors were an utter distraction.
I am not a writer but Da Costa’s writing could use a lift, is was less than mediocre at best. I’m hoping it was just this particular book where her writing didn’t shine.
I could go on and on with my grievances, end result Tempted by Two was not my cup of tea. This was my first sampling of Da Costa, despite it not being my taste I wouldn’t rule out future writings. Perhaps another one of her books might appeal to me, unfortunately this wasn’t the case with Tempted by Two.
