Tonight on the Titanic

Mary Pope Osborne

Published March 23rd 1999 by Random House Books for Young Readers

96 Pages

Jack and Annie are in for an exciting, scary, and sad adventure when the Magic Tree House whisks them back to the decks of the “Titanic.” Is there anything they can do to help the ill-fated ship? Will they be able to save anyone? Will they be able to save themselves?

I can’t actually remember what grade I read this in, but I remember I was given it from my elementary school for a summer reading book. I remember reading it sometime over that summer and loving it so much that as soon as I finished it, I flipped it back to the front and read it over again. Even to this day over a decade later, I can honestly truly say this book was the first book I ever loved! I enjoyed reading from Jack and Annie’s point of view, and actually learning about the Titanic, Until I read this book I thought the Titanic was just a really long movie!

What’s your Throwback Thursday?
