My Thoughts

Oh this book! I couldn’t put it down and it was sooooo good!!! I cannot tell you that enough! I enjoyed every minute of the mystery it held and I guarantee you will too! READ IT!!!

I went into this book not really knowing much about it at all. the synopsis does not really give you a good description and sometimes …that is a good thing! Every once in a while, I enjoy picking up a book without reading any reviews or even knowing what is in store for me. Sometimes they end poorly, but this was not the case with this one! I had skipped over every review and held myself back from watching anything on booktube that had included any type of spoiler on this book. I suggest that you all do the same! It makes the read that much better!

The very basic synopsis is that there is a very wealthy family that spends their summers on their own private island. There is an accident and the main character tries to piece everything back together. But the end…oh the end …I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!! Now, I have not read a book by E. Lockhart before, even though I have heard many great things about her. I can tell you that her writing is exquisite and she will suck you in! She has a way of describing the main character’s feelings that you really have to pay attention to the book to actually understand that some things are NOT really happening. There were several times that I was like…wait…what just happened? And then went back and had to read the paragraph over again before I really Got it.

I can definitely tell you that I will be on the look out for more from this author. This may be one of my favorites so far this year! READ the book people! and then come back and tell me if you think I lied???? LOL!
