ARC Review: Under the Lights by Abbi Glines

Under the Lights (The Field Party, #2)Under the Lights by Abbi Glines

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have not read too much by Abbi Glines but what I have read so far, I have really enjoyed! This is a second in a series and although I had not read the first book, I did not feel that I needed to but it definitely would clear up some questions that I have.

I enjoyed all of these characters! From Willa all the way down to Nonna. They were well developed and each had their own little quirk to make them unique. I did have a soft spot for Gunner since he was the resident bad boy. (you know me and how much I love a bad boy) Even though Brady was suppose to be the nice one, I really didn’t care for him much…..at all. He just rubbed me the wrong way. I felt really bad for Willa. Her mother was AWFUL and the horrible tragedy that she has witnessed really messed her up. I enjoyed getting glimpses into her past while really not knowing what had happened and the mystery of piecing it all together.

My absolute favorite p[art of the book was the very last chapter!!! I refuse to spoil it for anyone but I thought it was the sweetest and the perfect touch to end this book! Please add this one to your TBR, you will not be disappointed! And if anyone has any other Abbi Glines recommendations….send them my way;)
