Review: Unloved by Katy Regnery

Phew! What a whirlwind this book has turned out to be. It is a cross between romance, erotica & thriller all wrapped up into one neat, un-put-downable, fantastic little package!

I enjoyed both of the main characters and loved the dual POV. Cass was HAWT and so sweet, he kind of reminded me of the boy next door. I adored getting glimpses into his past in those rare moments when he was thinking back. He was written so well that I was able to feel his anguish and cried right along with him. Brynn was so broken when Cass found her and although it felt a bit like insta-love, I could understand why she fell so quickly for him after being alone for so long and going through what she had. He was her savior and I can’t say that I would not have been the same if I would be in that situation.

There were some parts of the book that felt so repetitive to me, especially when the characters were sorting out their feelings in their own thoughts. They just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. This did not deter me from wanting to continue but I could feel myself zoning out for a few minutes.

The ending was huge OMG moment when I finally got there and I DID NOT SEE IT COMING!!! The book was wrapped up with a wonderful epilogue and I felt fully satisfied with the story!
