*NOT A YA TITLE*
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I’ll ruin her if she doesn’t ruin me first…
When a gorgeous new tenant slips into my office the night of her twenty-first birthday with only one thing on her mind, I know I should send her on her way. Even if the thought of her tied up and at my mercy makes me ache.
I’m a harsh, demanding man, and Kymber’s too young, too innocent. A goddamn virgin. I hate myself for even thinking about stealing what should belong to another.
So I do the honorable thing. I walk away.
My babygirl is just as stubborn as me, though. Twenty-two years in the military, my discipline never faltered. Not once. And yet the feel of her trembling against me, begging for my permission, makes me lose all control.
Her innocent touch kick starts my battered heart. But my past left me with an emptiness I can’t fill, and I’ll be damned if I let my darkness destroy her light…
STIFF DISCIPLINE is a hot as hell standalone M/F romance with a dominant hero who plays on the edge. No cheating, and a HEA is guaranteed!
Kymber’s waking something inside me that I thought was dead. I want to protect her, own her, keep her as mine. I want to be the only one who gives her pleasure and pain.
This review is going to be short and sweet just like the book. The story starts off with a bang. Kymber is a 21 yr old virgin and wants to find a man to “de-flower” her. She feels it is time and she just wants to get it over with. Her best friend suggests the super in their apartment building but when Kymber shows up there to claim she is locked out and needs assistance, what she finds is much more than she had anticipated.
I really liked Daniel and the fact that he wrestles within himself to do the right thing. I honestly did not have a problem with their age difference and feel that if the chemistry is right, then so be it. Kymber was determined to get what she wanted and not take no for an answer. I liked that about her. She was not afraid to ask for what she wants.
The sex was hawt! If you are looking for a fast paced quick read, then this one is for you. These characters just jumped right into it. My only flaw with the book was that it was way too fast. I would have loved to see a full length novel.
