I read this book again to get ready for the sequel, Embolden. (which comes out on 10/31/18…just sayin) If you would like to read my original review, it can be found HERE! There were so many years in between the first book and the second that I could not even think about jumping right in without refreshing my brain first!
So, I still enjoyed it! Maybe not as much as the first time when the story was fresh and new and exciting! But, I still enjoyed the characters and the story line. I never got bored! Although, I did heart Alec a little less reading the second time through. He is an all around truly nice guy but….I love ’em bad! And he was just too nice for my taste.
I am currently reading the sequel and really enjoying it! Look for my review coming soon!
