Sam’s Top 5 Books of 2018

2018 was a pretty good year for me. I picked up a few new hobbies and spent a whole lot of time watching anime and playing video games. And so many Hallmark movies! But it wasn’t my best reading year, I honestly don’t think I’ll reach my goal this year. But I’m totally okay with that. However, I read some books that I truly enjoyed, which is what I’ll be sharing with you today. Without further ado, here are my top 5 books of 2018!

Dear Martin by Nic Stone. Nic Stone really ripped my heart out with this one. Justyce was such a great character & this was such a timely novel. Loved

Fire Touched by Patricia Briggs. This is the 9th book in the Mercy Thompson series. I’ve 5 starred every single book In this series it’s amazing!

Love and Space Dust by David Jones. This is my go-to poetry collection. Every time I read a disappointing collection, I come back to this one to remind myself what good poetry feels like.

Sea Prayer by Khaled Hosseini. I cried so much.

Co-Ed by Rachel Van Dyken. For the longest time, I have read Romance novels. And this one got me back into them. Such a good romance and I freaking loved how the characters acted their ages! And it didn’t end with a marriage or pregnancy/baby!

Honorable mention:

Operation Atonement by Talia Hibbert. I’m currently reading this one and I’m in love!
