Life Update | Disney, My Latest Obsession & Life!

Life Ramblings

My life has been such a whirlwind lately. I feel like the days/weeks are just running on by me. I cannot believe that we are almost at the end of April!!! Where did this month go???

I am finally feeling so much better after being ill, so that is a plus. Work and the kids are good. My oldest is home this weekend for Easter. I cannot really believe that in a few weeks, she will be completely done with her Sophomore year of college!

As for my youngest, she will be completing her Sophomore year of high school this year! She is a member of the school choir and we are currently planning their trip to Disney in December! I. AM. SO. EXCITED! I think even more than she is! Disney is like my favorite place ever and we have not been there in 10 years!!! Here is the kicker…I volunteered my hubby and I to drive the truck loaded with the kid’s luggage and all the band instruments from Pennsylvania to Florida! I will keep you all posted on the planning:)

Reading Ramblings

I have become INFATUATED with the After series by Anna Todd!!! I read them a few years ago when they first came out but wanted a refresher prior to seeing the movie. I started with After and devoured it! Literally in almost one sitting but I, unfortunately, had to go to bed to be able to function at work the next day.

This song by Ida Mae makes me think of Hardin and Tessa’s relationship. It is a total train wreck but so full of angst and it reminds me of a REAL relationship at their young age. The immaturity, the fighting and arguing and the long making up love scenes.

“I bring out the worst in you and you bring out the best in me.”
― Anna Todd, After

I am now almost halfway through After We Collided, which is the second book in the series and I STILL cannot get enough. I wish that I could just read for 3 days to complete the whole entire series. I will not stop until I have finished. Honestly, I cannot even remember how it ends??? I completely understand how people can get so caught up in this series because it literally sucks you in and you cannot stop reading!

“You aren’t some conquest of mine – you’re everything to me! You’re my breath, my pain, my heart, my life!”
― Anna Todd, After We Collided
