The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane.
Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable.
Bethany can’t deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren’t a complication she wants, she can’t stay away from him. Still, whenever they lock eyes, she’s drawn in.
Captivated. Lured. Loved.
Dawson is keeping a secret that will change her existence…and put her life in jeopardy. But even he can’t stop risking everything for one human girl. Or from a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself.
I never had really gotten into reading the novellas along with the series. I am not sure why? I mean, if I enjoyed the series, of course I would enjoy the novella but they just never caught my interest? This may have to change from now on!
I really enjoyed this novella and liked getting more information on Dawson and Bethany. I like that we get to view the beginning of their relationship and how things came to be.
I really like Dawson. I mean, he is no Daemon but a much sweeter version. I liked being able to see this side of him compared to what we see after the DOD is done with him. I can completely understand why Dawson and Dee are so close.
If you are a fan of the Lux series, then this book is a “must read”! Don’t wait like I did! I am kicking myself for taking so long to read this!
Do you read novellas? Have you read this one?
