Review: Life Bound by Aubrey Winters

Published December 25th 2020 by Amazon Digital Services

When a vampire throws you out of a window, don’t make him your personal body guard.

But when my Nana disappears, he has no choice but to stick with me if he wants to stay alive.

My life turned upside down when I walked in on the world’s oldest vampire attacking my grandmother. Everything I knew about myself was a lie. My parents weren’t killed in a tragic car accident, my Nana wasn’t a normal little old lady, and a whole supernatural world exists parallel to ours.

I’m desperate to find Nana. Kol is desperate to break this spell that binds my life to his. Together, we have to make sure I stay alive long enough to find out who I really am before an underground war between the supernatural races tears the Shadow world apart.

My Thoughts

The author was looking for reviewers on Facebook and I could not resist a vampire story! They are absolutely one of my favorite genres and the fact that this book was NA was also a plus!

Elle just wants to surprise her Nana but what she gets is a surprise of her own. She gets pulled into The Shadow World and her life tied to that of a vampire. Completely not how she expected to spend her spring break.

Secrets, betrayal and mystery. This book had them all! I adored our MC, Elle. She is untrusting of those around her until she really gets to know them. I love her nature and the fact that she stands up for herself even when she is scared to death, it doesn’t deter her.

Ms. Winters did a fantastic job at keeping my interest and investing in these characters. My favorite part was the banter between the two main MCs. This was a fast paced read that kept me wanting more and very much looking forward to the second in this series.

Have you heard of this book? Plan on reading it? Read it already?
