My Thoughts

This is the second book in Ms. Crownover’s Marked Men series. The first book, Rule, was excellent!!! I could not wait to just dive right into this one!

Ayden has admired Jet ever since she saw him the first time. Jet is the lead singer in a band and when he is on stage, she is literally mezmerized. Jet has noticed Ayden, but she just seems too good for him.

This book started off a little slow for me. I wanted to just get to the good stuff. *hubba hubba* But Ms. Crownover insisted on building the sexual tension and making me wait a little longer! *the nerve!*

We find out a whole lot more about Jet and why he insists on staying around his home town and NOT trying to make it big with the band. YES, he actually has some very good reasons! We also get to see a whole lot more into Ayden’s past and why she does not really share a whole lot about her family or even talk too much about them.

With the alternating POVs, we get a glimpse at what is going on with each character. They both are so broken and trying to just hold it together for the other one. There were a few moments in the book when the tears had started flowing. *you guys know that I am such a mush!*

The one very big part of why I had really enjoyed this book was getting to see what Rule & Shaw were up to:) I really enjoyed their story and loved being able to reconnect with these two characters to see what was going on in their lives!

On that note, I can say that this series is just full of awesomeness! *I mean who doesn’t like tattooed, pierced men?* I can’t wait for the last enstallment, Rome, to be published in January 2014 in paperback. Ms. Crownover has already set up the story for us at the end of Jet and I have a feeling that Rome may be the best book out of all three!

What Am I Thankful For?

I figured with this being Thanksgiving and all, that I would count my blessings and let all of you know what I am most thankful for. So, here is my list and they are in no particuliar order:)

1. My Family

My husband and my children are literally my rocks and the reason why I even wake up every morning!

2. My Dogs

My dogs are my second children! We have three, Harper the big black one, we will have for a year this coming February. Pluto is the little white one and Yuengling is the black & white furry one.

They make me smile and literally can brighten my day with one puppy lick!

3. BOOKS!!!

Okay, you had to know that this one would be on the list somewhere! Of course, every book blogger loves books!!!

4. Co-Bloggers!

I have been trying to run this blog by myself and let me tell you….it’s hard work trying to keep up! I am so very thankful that I have found these three lovely ladies to help:)
