SUMMARY:
Sizzling shipboard romance — Jody throws caution to the wind as she lets go of her inhibitions and indulges in one magnificent week of pleasure. Passions surge, lovers tangle and two lives will never be the same again.
Jody knew she was in trouble the minute she stepped on board the gleaming cruise ship and into the arms of the sexy celebrity guest, Taggart Keith. For just one week, Jody gives into the seductive flames of desire and succumbs to Taggart’s charms. But when she returns to land, can Jody resist the temptation of even more pleasure?
MY THOUGHTS
I have not been fortunate enough to indulge on a cruise but…after reading Sail Away with Me I need to make a point of heading for the high seas.
Jody, freshly divorced, juggling career as an artist and raising a 12 year old son she is attempting to figure out who she is in her new world. She is a sensible woman and has her priorities straight. Handling her newfound independence she is NOT seeking a man to define and support her, in fact she’s staying clear of men – until she meets Taggart Keith. Deveaux describes Jody as being a woman rediscovering her sexuality and newly single status. She’s not the type to dabble in casual sex and THAT exact frame of mind makes the story even sexier. I enjoyed reading Jody wrestle with her attraction and feelings towards Taggart, her wavering is plausible adding a fun hook to the story. She is likable and empathetic as she tries to incorporate responsibilities and time for herself without diminishing time with her son.
Taggart Keith….yum! Could this man be for real? He is sweet, sexy, smart and equally taken with Jody. He’s smooth but not in a sleazy way. Taggart is just too good to be true and I hope he is gentle with Jody. One of the best qualities of Taggart – the ability to say ‘I am sorry.’ Will this turn out to be more than a ship board romance or will these two find themselves caught up in the sex only? You’ll have to read to find out what happens to Jody and Taggart, no spoilers here!
My only complaint….can we please have a romance story without the male being a multimillionaire?? How about a man oozing with goals and motivation that is financially stable? I’m over the uber wealthy man, overdone.
Sail Away with Me is a fun sweet story of finding romance when you least expect it. It is proof ‘never say never’ doesn’t always hold true. Sea and land – what will transpire between this sweet and sexy pair after the vacation ends. A great romantic story with plenty of steamy moments.

I could use something hot and steamy to combat this bitterly cold winter snow here … sounds like this could be the perfect read for me right now.
Thanks for being on the tour!
