Down the TBR Hole was originally created by Lost in a Story! The point of it is to help get your reading lists down, or maybe push higher anticipated releases up on your TBR! I have a HUGE TBR and I am always looking for ways to decrease it. I am hoping this will help. Some of these books have been on my TBR for years!
How it works:
- Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld: This book was everywhere back in 2011-2012 and I believe that I had actually picked up a copy but…I think that I had given said copy to the library because I felt like I would never get around to reading it?
Verdict: GO
Meeting In Darkness by Imogene Howson: There really isn’t even a blurb on GR for this one? I have no idea of where it even came to be on my TBR?
Verdict: GO
Welcome To Scranton by Greg Halpin: I saw this book somewhere and thought the plot seemed really interesting. A group of twenty something guys, friendship, small town. The book only has 2 3/4 stars, so, I am going to have to say buh bye…
Verdict: GO
Wish & Wishful Thinking by Alexandra Bullen: The premise to these books may have sounded fascinating to my once younger self, but now…I am not so sure? I do not own either of them so, they will have to go.
Verdict: GO
That’s 5 more gone from my TBR. What about you? Have you read any of these? What is on your TBR Hole this week? Chat at me!

I think I have Wish somewhere in my TBR pile too? I can see why you would let that one go though. I probably will too when I get to it!

Yeah, I think it was one of those that was a little hyped up but I am completely not interested any longer😳
